(Hermon, ME) Speedway 95, Maine’s Family Fun Track, held it’s annual awards banquet on Saturday, November 12th at the Elks lodge in Bangor. The Event was hosted by Track Announcer & publicist Bill DaButler, and Safety Inspector Wayne Elston.

Awards and trophies were handed out for the top drivers in the point’s standings for the 2005 season, as well as special awards from the Safety Inspectors, the Flagmen, & the tech garage, as well as awards for Sportsmanship, Most Improved Driver, and Rookie of the year. 2005 Limited Sportsman champion Brenton Parritt of Stueben earned the honors of Rookie of the year in his division. “I knew we’d have a pretty good chance (at the championship) if we kept our nose clean… It was a good feeling.”
