(Hermon) On Saturday November 13th, at 5 PM , just one day after the
first snow flakes fell over the region, Speedway 95 held their annual
awards banquet at the Elks club in Bangor. Trophies where handed out
for the top ten of the premiere divisions, and the top 5 for the Wacky
Wednesday, and small divisions. The Biggest awards, the 2004 Sportsman
Pro-stock, and Limited Sportsman Championships where handed to Greg
Morse or St. Albans driver of the 02 Limited car, and Andy Saunders of
Ellsworth, who drove his Monte Carlo to it's second consecutive
championship. 


After dinner and the awards presentation, drivers with their crews and
families, stayed to dance the remainder of the evening away. Speedway
95 will return to action Sunday April 24th, with 50 lap Sportsman
Pro-Stock, Limited Sportsman & Super Street races, plus 35 Laps in
both Strictly Street, and Sport Four. In addition to the championship
in the Sportsman Pro-stock division, the Pro-stock driver declared the
champion for the 2005 season will be guaranteed a spot in the PRO-ALL
STARS race, scheduled for September 11th, 2005.
